Part 135 Training Manuals must encompass a complete training program that includes the specific needs of the operator. Once your training program is FAA approved, you must continuously review and update to ensure that it stays current with the changing regulations and training needs.
An integral part of a good Part 135 Training Program Manual is the training maneuvers section. Flight Training manual development
Must be provided for each training program
Should follow the guidelines in FAA Order 8900.10;
Are accepted only as an integral part of the overall training program subject to the revision provisions of 14 CFR § 142.37(e) and (f);
Must comply with all limitations of the Aircraft Flight Manual (AFM) or Rotorcraft Flight Manual (RFM); and
Must comply with and be consistent with requirements and conditions of the Practical Test Standards and Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations.
Profiles for most Single-Engine Piston Airplanes & Helicopters are included with your training program order. We provide you with profile templates for your aircraft so that you can define the maneuver details and return the information for us to draw them out.
Most jet aircraft operators use Training Centers with simulators such as Flight Safety International or Simuflight. If you are using their profiles we will integrate them into your Training Program.
