welcome

FAA Certifications

Air Carrier Compliance Group offers "turnkey" complete document service for just about all FAA required aviation manuals. Part 135 certification is our specialty. We also assist with AOC and certifications world wide, as well as pretty much all of the operating manuals.

Once the FAA approves your manuals, we stay with you for a year of support. ACCG also provides hard copies for your Principle Base of Operations office, the FAA, and the aircraft. Additionally, your manuals can be made available online (secured) and we can provide you with an electronic (PDF) file copy that you can use for your Electronic Flight Bag program.

Part 135 Air Carrier Certificates

An Air Carrier Certificate is required if you desire to:

  • operate aircraft for hire
  • hold out to the public
  • provide public transportation services by air

The FAA issues 3 kinds of Part 135 Air Carrier Certificates. We have made a page of general information that applies to all part 135 applicants, and the specific information for each is below.

Single Pilot certificates/Single Pilot in Command certificates are issued to those who operate with 1 Pilot in Command. They may have more than 1 aircraft. Single Pilot in Command certificates are for those that operate aircraft that require 2 pilots.

Basic and full Part 135 certificates (also called Standard) are the same except basic operators are limited to 5 aircraft and 5 pilots. Full operators do not have the option to combine FAR 119 management personnel. All positions are required; Director of Operations, Chief Pilot, and Director of Maintenance.

Custom Manuals

General Operations Manuals

To build your initial draft we start with the content required by 14 CFR 135.23, and then add the specific topics that address the operators' needs.

Flight Operations Manuals

Flight Operations Manuals are not required in the United States. This manual is commonly used by jet operators for international operations. Basically the manual is a tool to enhance safety. FOMs combine the aircraft manufacturer's guidance for aircraft operation with relevant FAA publications, and safety operating practices from ICAO Annex 6 for international operations. Optional content includes Safety Management Programs (SMS), Emergency Response Plans, and information for the area of operations.

RVSM

RVSM certifications include stand alone or fleet approvals. Once the aircraft meets the maintenance side of the requirements we make the RVSM manual to complete your certification.

Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) Training Program also known as Dangerous Goods, HAZMAT training is required for all Part 135 certified air carriers.

Minimum Equipment Lists

Allow you to operate with some aircraft equipment inoperative. Realistically, all operators should have a Minimum Equipment List.

Non-Essential Equipment and Furnishings

The Non-Essential Furnishings Program (NEF) applies items that the MEL does not cover such as door trim curtains.

Training Programs

We make custom training manuals to fit operation and your aircraft. All manuals come with flight profiles. We also help with integration with outsourced training providers such as Flight Safety International and Simuflite.

Approved Aircraft Inspection Program (AAIP)

AAIP's are required for those who operate turbine, and some turbo prop aircraft. We make your AAIP program based on the most recently published version of the manufacturer’s recommended inspection program or Maintenance Planning Document (MPD). The inspection programs include items which may not be included in the aircraft manufacturer’s program, ensuring the complete aircraft is inspected.

International Manuals

IOMs are manuals focused on the international operations associated with RVSM, ICAO regulations. They provide standardized guidance, policy, and procedure specific to the operator's area of operations.

Operations in areas such as Isle of Man and San Marino for example require Maintenance Control Manuals (MCM) and Operations Manuals that encompass many of the US Part 135 requirements (mass & balance, flight and duty limits, HAZMAT), and Safety Management Systems are required in just about all countries.
